This site’s purpose to share information from a study of Genealogy and other information on the Bradburn family name in Canada, including their descendants in the US.   I began the study initially to learn about my own lineage, but expanded it to cover all Bradburns in Canada, due to: 1) there are so many like-named persons, I had to collect all the records to sort out the families, and 2) the realization that we are all related at some point from common Irish or English ancestors.   So, I am posting the study results here, to share with other Bradburns, and hopefully get some insight on many unsolved questions that remain.

The first Bradburns in Canada were the family of George Bradburn of County Cavan, Ireland, who arrived in Cavan Township in 1818.   More arrived from Ireland and England, throughout the century – and I intend to back trace those eventually.
